Exciting News!

We have just received through the post two excellent items for our auction on the 29th!

The Welsh Rugby Union has sent over 6 Millineum Stadium tour tickets and Swansea City Football Club has given us to match day game tickets!!

We are so pleased with the response we have had so far from the local community. I cant wait to see what else we get through for our fundraiser.

As far as training goes, the past two days we have done a 15K a day. Finally getting back onto a good running schedule after the cold. We are feeling quite positive about the race. just 3.5 weeks left now!

hiccup

Rhys and I have encountered a slight hiccup in our race training. we both caught a cold. That is the downfall of having a little one. everything she catches, we catch. Stuffy nose, sore throat and a head that feels as if it could explode any second make long distance running a bit more difficult.

However, after a restful weekend. and much shorter runs than planned, we are both on the mend. best that the illness hit now as opposed to the end of the month. I couldnt imagine being sick and trying to do the actual race!

on the menu for today? ten mile run for each of us. here is looking forward to a week of successful running!
